What country is bugatti from?

Tough question - the founder of Bugatti is Italian, yet he founded it in France. But now its owned by a German Company (Volkswagen). But if I were to say one answer, its probably France as that is where it was founded.

The Bugatti Veyron is said to be the fastest, most expensive car sold today. Bugatti claims a top speed of 248 mph and 0-62 mph in 2.5 seconds for the base Veyron 16.4. The uplevel Super Sport version is capable of 258 mph. Prices are said to start at more than $1,700,000 and can rise to around $3,000,000. Bugatti is a revival of a marque famous during the 1920s-1930s. Between the World Wars Bugatti occupied a niche similar to today's Ferrari. Parent-company Volkswagen introduced the current Veyron in 2005. The model name "Veyron" honors Pierre Veyron, a Bugatti driver who won the 1939 Le Mans. Bugattis are built in Molsheim, France near the site of the original Bugatti factory.

At the Geneva Motor Show Bugatti displayed a Grand Sport Vitesse that will be available later in the year. The Vitesse is a convertible version of the higher-performance Super Sport. The existing models are unchanged.

There are currently three Bugatti models: base Veyron, Super Sport with more power and firmer suspension, and Grand Sport convertible with the base engine and suspension. Carbon-ceramic brakes, navigation, and a Burmester sound system are standard. The on-board diagnostics system alerts the factory of possible malfunctions. The paint on the Super Sport's carbon-fiber body can be replaced with a clear-coating that is said to cost around $500,000.

What is Bugatti Teasing Here?

It was recently reported that the all-powerful Bugatti Veyron Super Sport was stripped of its crown in the category of world speed record, in place of the Hennessey Venom GT. While the Veyron may have originated the idea of monstrous speeds on a production level, other automakers have all but overtaken Bugatti and their speed dreams.

Now though, with news a stirring on who’s faster, Bugatti released a teaser on its Facebook page for what very well could be the sought after, 1,600-hp Super Veyron. Or at least we hope.
The teaser doesn’t really show anything other than a garage door opening to beam in some light. And the photo caption reads: “The stage is set. It’s almost time for us to share the latest example of exceptional Bugatti performance, simply keep a close eye on Facebook over the next few days.”
Oh, we will. While we’re not entirely sure what to expect, if we’re to believe early rumors, a Bugatti Super Veyron could push out the aforementioned 1,600-hp, manage 60 mph in only 1.8 seconds, and cost a jaw-dropping $2.5M.
